We had an outstanding afternoon at Barnes and Noble in Corpus Christi on Saturday the 16th of July, 2011.  The event went so well that we were asked if we would like to do more signings at different locations throughout Texas.  We had some local news media coverage and hopefully we obtain the clip.

My first book signing at  Corpus Christi Naval Air Station was a success.  It went better than expected and I am happy with the early results.  Planning on another one soon at Barnes and Nobles hopefully before Christmas.

Finally,  after months of editing and revisions of the text and the cover, the book has finally gone to print. The book should be available within the next 2-4 weeks through the publisher, iUniverse, website: iUniverse.com and hopefully by order at Barnes and Nobles.

The book has been trimmed signifcantly in text but that is for obvious reasons.

An Unforgettable Salute has entered the "Content Edit" phase. This is where an editor will check the manuscript for more pervasive errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The editor will also address syntax and word choice and make light recommendations for improving the overall readability of the work.

A content editor will work to ensure the general accuracy and consistency of content and focus on more extensive restructuring of sentences.

I have completed my portion of the edit and need to write an Introduction.  Once that is completed, I will turn it back in for a final edit and some minor changes. Published hopefully by this summer.

As we move into the New Year, I am anticipating it to be a great one, hopefully when An Unforgettable Salute is published. 

The excitement is mounting to give The Long Way Home my undivided attention and begin an edit by the end of the summer.

I have completed my edit from the suggestions of my dear friend Margie of Wayward Women Films, in London.

Now, we need to find a publisher! If not then self-publishing is the choice.
